Shuttle services available from/to Nagano station, and major tourist destinations of the area!
Hotel Kokusai 21 is conveniently located for access to a number of attractions in central Nagano City, including Zenko-ji temple, the Gondo district, and Uruoikan (the city center’s only hot spring). From April the hotel will operate a complementary shuttle bus service to and from Nagano Station. While the main attractions of Nagano City are within easy reach of the hotel but the station is a little further. You can get to the hotel from JR Nagano Station in 20 minutes on foot.
This problem though, is easily solved, by using the complementary shuttle service that is provided by the hotel. The shuttle’s timetable is synced to the timetables of shinkansen trains servicing the major hub cities of Tokyo and Kanazawa. You can get to know the operation period and timetable of the shuttle service from their official website.
The shuttle service is provided via minivan, so large parties are encouraged to request transportation using the pick-up/drop off service.
For pick-up, all you need to do is call the hotel at +81-262-34-1506 once you know your arrival time at Nagano Station and the hotel will make sure to provide a ride. If you arrive at Nagano via Shinkansen, the easiest way to your ride to the hotel is to just exit the Shinkansen gates.
A member of staff will be waiting for you at the Information Board across from the Shinkansen exit gates (next to Beck’s Coffee).
If you want to make your way back to the station from the hotel, all you need to do is to inquire at the front desk and they will reserve a shuttle for you.
Not only is Hotel Kokusai 21 accessible from Nagano station, but guests may visit other popular tourists destination of Nagano by using the express bus that depart from the hotel’s main entrance once a day.
