Gotemba Premium Outlets is a large shopping mall located near the Fuji area and the Hakone area in Gotemba. Japanese household names such as Issey Miyake, Moussy, Pokemon Store and Jun can also be found here.

From steak to pasta, coffee shops to bakeries, you will find something to suit your tastebuds. There are number of ways to reach Gotemba. From Tokyo, you can take the direct express highway bus which departs from Shinjuku, Shibuya and even Tokyo station. The journey will take approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours with tickets ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 yen approximately. You can also reach Gotemba by train from Tokyo. Use the JR Tokaido Line from Tokyo station to JR Gotemba station, and from there you can take the free shuttle bus directly to the Outlet taking around 15 minutes. Your total journey using the train and shuttle bus will take around 2 to 2.5 hours. From Shinjuku station, take the Odakyu Line Limited Express ’Romancecar’ to Gotemba station, then take the free shuttle bus. This journey will take approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours.

From the Mount Fuji and Hakone areas, visitors can take the local bus or shuttle from many major station across these areas. Stations such as Hakone, Kawaguchiko and Fuji-Q Highland all offer services direct to the Outlets. You could also hire a private vehicle to drive you to the Outlets if that is something you’d prefer. The Outlets boasts ample parking.
