Komatsuya (こまつや) is located next to the Zenko-ji Temple grounds in a building with a history going back to the Edo-period. It took some renovating, but the now stylish Italian restaurant has found its place in the building. With a large counter and lovely table seating you can enjoy the atmosphere of the place while having some delicious pastas made with local produce and organic wines to top it all off.

Komatsuya has an English menu available, and the staff speaks a little bit of English, too.
