Taking between 40 to 55-minutes to reach central Tokyo, the rapid service is slightly faster than the Narita Express (N’EX) which operates from the airport to Tokyo Station (along with others), however unlike the NEX, the Keisei Skyliner is not covered by any Japan Rail (JR) Pass. So even if you have a JR Pass, if you plan to use the Skyliner, you will have to pay for a ticket.
The NEX stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Narita Airport. Passengers arriving or departing from Terminal 3 can use the corridor that connects it to Terminal 2, to board or disembark the train there. A one-way journey from the airport to Keisei-Ueno or Nippori Station costs JPY2520 per adult. Return tickets and specials are also available – see our ‘Keisei Skyliner’ main page for details.
