If you are looking for a fun and easy activity while visiting Shiga Kogen Ski Resort why not try a ‘snowdrive’ or ‘snowscoot’? Snowdrives (pictured above) offer a uniquely Japanese snow activity that will definitely get a reaction! Invented in Nagano the in past five years, snowdrives are simple to use and extremely fun. Snowscoots (pictured below) are equally fun while a little trickier to handle. You’ll love whizzing down the mountain, especially on those powder days when the snow is kicking-up and you’re bursting through snowclouds!

Both can be used within the fenced-off activity areas at the Maruike Snow Activity Park and Yakebitaiyama Family Snow Park. Devices are available in sizes appropriate for both adults and children. Snowtubes and sleds are also available.
