Also referred to as the ‘Hakone Glass no Mori’, the museum showcases Venetian glassware dating from the 15th to 18th centuries. Over one hundred pieces in total – including some more modern glassware – is on display, housed in imitation Italian-style buildings.

Surrounding the museum, landscaped gardens and a canal-like pond create an tranquil and relaxing setting through which to wander, with the museum’s café restaurant open throughout the day including live ‘canzone’ (Italian ballads) performed by a singer. Workshops are available at the museum with beautiful glass pieces also available for purchase.
