Obuse is a beautiful town where you can spend half a day roaming around, taking in the environment and trying all kinds of delicious treats. But why go there by train if you can have a beautiful cycle through the Japanese countryside to fill up the rest of your day?
Cycling to Obuse from the Snow Monkey area is a ride that even the least of experienced riders can do, with mostly being slightly downhill. A big plus side next to getting a little bit of a change of exercise compared to always walking while traveling is that you get to see several sights along the way you would never see otherwise.
