May is known as the Month of Crafts in Matsumoto and every year on the last Saturday and Sunday of May the Matsumoto Craft Fair is held at the Agata-no-Mori park. Here people from all over Japan come to gather to show their crafted goods made from a variety of materials; wood, glass, metal, earthenware etc. If you enjoy arts and crafts, then the Matsumoto Craft Fair is certainly an interesting place to spend half a day or even a whole day.
