Where is the Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel?

The Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel is located approximately 40KM / 1 to 1.5-hours to the east of Nagano City and around 250KM / 4 to 5-hour drive to the north-west of Tokyo. While there is no Shinkansen station in Shiga Kogen, the nearest station—Yudanaka Station—can be reached via the Nagano Dentetsu Line from Nagano Station in around 45 minutes, followed by a 30 to 40-minute bus or taxi ride into the resort. From Tokyo, the total journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by train and local transport. Sitting at elevations ranging from 1,300 to over 2,000 meters, Shiga Kogen is one of Japan’s highest and largest ski areas, renowned for its reliable snow, long season, making it a top destination for both winter sports and nature lovers.
