The snow monkey area is regionally known as Kanbayashi Onsen and is home to several high-end Japanese-style inns such as HOTEL SENJUKAKU. In walking distance of the Snow Monkey Park, Senjukaku is the accommodation located nearest to the park trailhead entrance.
The area is surrounded by cherry blossoms, beautiful green pine trees, and maple trees that change to beautiful red and yellow colors in autumn. This gives every season a unique feel with snow in winter, cherry blossoms in spring, lush green in summer, and a wide range of colors in autumn.
