For this reason, Tokyo is seen as the gateway to exploring Japanese heritage and culture, but is also the perfect location to visit the other amazing regions of Japan! For any first timer’s or return visitors to Japan, we have created a number of seasonal itineraries to help inspire your travels and help you tailor your trip to suit your preferences and interests depending on the time of year you’re visiting. For this itinerary we suggest a 5 day Summer plan that covers Tokyo, Hakone, Kamakura and Enoshima, Nagoya and Kamikochi. This itinerary is perfect for those wanting to experience Japan in the Summer and its stunning nature, and offers a good variety of attractions along the way. Day 1 HAKONE

Hakone Highlights : Explore Japan's Mountainous Region / all year round

Upon arrival at Shinjuku Station, your guide will greet you and take you on a memorable tour to these two beautiful spots to enjoy historic, cultural and nature highlights.

1 Day Trip to Kamakura and Enoshima : Shrines, Seaside, Temple and Tea / All Year Round

Enjoy a day trip from Tokyo in the neighbouring prefecture of Kanagawa, and explore two of its hotspots Kamakura and Enoshima! Kamakura is a popular day trip to do during your trip to Tokyo as it’s only just over 60 minutes away from Shinjuku station. This tour is a great opportunity to venture out and see a different part of Japan but with the ease of still being close to the city! Japanese locals especially love Kamakura and Enoshima due to its close proximity to the sea! So why don’t you take a break from the skyscrapers and bustling Metropolis of Tokyo, and come experience this slice of paradise!

On the tour you will learn all about Kamakura’s past and significance at its many shrines and temples, experience a traditional Japanese matcha and sweet experience in a Bamboo forest, feed Japanese Koi Carp, and walk Kamakura’s popular shopping street lined with restaurants, street food vendors and local crafts. Wake up third night of staying in Tokyo. Today you will have the entire day to explore the amazing areas of Ueno and Yanaka in Tokyo. Upon arrival at Ueno Station, your guide will greet you and take you on a memorable tour to these two beautiful spots to enjoy historic, cultural highlights. This is a slower paced tour, so please enjoy the relaxing and leisurely atmosphere.


1 Day Walking Tour in Ueno and Yanaka : Culture, Art and Old Tokyo  / All Year Round

This tour will provide guests with a well balanced itinerary including museums, a park and nature, shrines and temples, and traditional architecture. You will walk around the popular and expansive Ueno Park to visit its many temples, shrines and beautiful landscape. Known as the place to go if you’re a culture vulture due to its many museums and heritage attractions. You will then visit a bustling and lively retro area of Ueno famous for its old style shopping arcades and restaurants.You will then visit a perfect example of a Shitamachi or ’lower city’ in Tokyo, Yanaka. A cosy and traditional neighbourhood not many tourists know about, you will step back in time and enjoy an atmosphere that is very different to many parts of Tokyo.
