RECOMMENDED HOTELS IN NOZAWA
Accommodation at Nozawa Onsen is mostly located in and around the village centre. A hot spring town with a history dating back more than 1000 years, visitors are spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing their accommodation with many established hotels and an increasing number of high-end options popping-up each season including private/self-contained luxury accommodation. Of course as an ‘onsen’ (hot spring) town, Nozawa Onsen has its share of ‘ryokan’ (traditional guesthouses) with their own in-house hot springs along with multiple public onsen dotted through the town. Offering lots of restaurants, bars, nightlife and services for English and other foreign language-speakers, Nozawa Onsen is as popular for what’s on offer off the slopes as it is for what’s on offer on the mountain.
