Located in the Maruike ski fields – some of the earliest ski areas you come to when arriving in Shiga Kogen Ski Resort – the Maruike Snow Activity Park is one of two dedicated play areas popular with families and children in the resort – the other being the Yakebitaiyama Family Snow Park. Maruike is a scenic and easily accessible area of the resort, making it the ideal setting for children and their families to enjoy the gentle slopes away from skiers and snowboarders.

The activity area is fenced-off allowing visitors to use a range of gear including sleds and tubes in safety.
