Hotel Sunny Shiga also offers in-house ski and snowboard rental – a great option for beginner or guests traveling light and without their gear. The following rates apply:

Ski set / including skis & boots – JPY1000

Snowboard set / including board & boots – JPY1000

Ski/snowboard wear – JPY1000

Gloves – JPY500

Enquiries and bookings can be made directly to the hotel. For guests bringing their own ski or snowboard gear, the hotel provides secure storage in the basement. Ski and snowboard maintenance can also be arranged in-house.

Ski and snowboard lessons can be arranged through the hotel and Shiga International Ski School at the following rates:

Ski Lessons

Adult                     Half-day – JPY9500 / Full-day – JPY13500

Children               09:30-12:00 – JPY9800 / 13:00-15:00 – JPY8800 / Full-day – JPY14900

Snowboard Lessons

Adult                     Half-day – JPY9500 / Full-day – JPY13500

Children               Group lessons are not available but can be arranged as a private lesson
