The Sengokuhara area of Hakone is located around 25-minutes north of the central town/Hakone-Yumoto Station and 15-minutes from the Gora Station area. This is the highest accommodation area in Hakone with a large range of accommodation options including luxury hotels, vacation homes, restaurants and golf courses making it a popular destinations for many Tokyoites. Several excellent museums and galleries are also located in the area including POLA Museum of Art and the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum. There is no train station in the Sengokuhara area meaning that it’s most convenient for travellers with their own car otherwise you will need to use local buses or taxis to get around.
